How to Host the Perfect Spring Brunch

Hi! My name is Meg Schwieterman and A Sunny State of Mind Blog ( is my bright little corner of the internet. I am super excited to write for the Frosting Company because I am a Frosting Belle and really love their products! Today, I will be sharing some ways that you (yes, you!) can host the cutest, yummiest brunch ever.

My first tip would be to have some kind of interactive food station. One of my favorites is a “fill-your-own” crepe station complete with pre-made crepes and bowls of fruit and things like Nutella and jam. Another fun one is a fruit kabob station where guests can put their favorite fruits on a skewer.

A pretty table is a must. Some ideas of centerpieces are vases of fresh-cut flowers, jars of pastel M&M’s, or tea-lights in cute votives. Other things to take into consideration is if you want to use colorful napkins, paper straws, and place cards. Something I like to do if wrap silverware in colorful napkins and tie it with a bow at each place setting.

Location is everything. If your climate allows, I recommend having an outdoor brunch. It’s just more springy! If not, choose a room in your house where you will have a lot of space, because crowding around a table isn’t fun for anyone.  We can’t control the weather, so be sure to have a back-up plan for your outdoor brunch in case of rain.

Have cute party favors! My favorites would be tins of Body Butter from the Frosting Company or cellophane bags with Frosting Bath Fizzies (bath bombs)! They come in a lot of spring-inspired scents, so be sure to check them out. For 10% off, use my code ShopMeg!

I hope these tips help, have fun at your brunch!
